MyInnos built the Outwardly app as a free utility. It lets you send a message to, or call, a phone number without saving it as a contact. This service is provided at no cost and is intended for use as-is.
This page explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and the choices you have.
Your data stays on your device. Outwardly does not store your phone numbers or message content on our servers. The numbers you enter and your send history are kept locally on your device.
No access to your contacts. The app does not read your contact list or address book, and does not collect phone numbers from your device automatically.
Numbers and messages you enter. You manually type a phone number and, optionally, a message. This is user-provided data, used to open the app you choose (WhatsApp, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Skype, your SMS app, or the phone dialer) so you can complete the action yourself.
On-device history. When a message or call is started successfully, an entry is saved to a local history on your device so you can search it and reuse a number later. This history is stored only on your device. If you have Android Backup enabled, it is included in your own Google account backup (Google Drive) and restored when you reinstall the app. It is never uploaded to MyInnos servers.
Anonymous usage analytics. When you start a message, the app records an anonymous event containing only the channel used (for example, WhatsApp or SMS), your country calling code, and the app version. These events do not include phone numbers, message content, or any information that identifies you or the recipient.
We do not use your information for marketing or advertising, and we do not sell it.
The app uses the following services, which may collect anonymous technical information to provide and improve their functionality:
When you choose a target, Outwardly hands off to that third-party app (for example WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Skype, your SMS app, or the dialer). Once handed off, your message is handled by that app under its own privacy policy. Outwardly is not responsible for the practices of those apps.

If the app crashes or hits an error, diagnostic log data may be collected through the third-party tools above. This may include device model, operating system version, app configuration, and timestamps. It does not include your phone numbers or message content.
The app does not use cookies directly. Third-party SDKs may use similar technologies as part of their services.
This app is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
We take reasonable measures to protect data using industry-standard practices. Your history is stored in the app’s private storage on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is completely secure.
Outwardly is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by WhatsApp, Telegram, Signal, Viber, Skype, or any other messaging platform. All product names, logos, and trademarks belong to their respective owners.
